Confuss is a robot that reacts to human bodies with a motion detector sensor that triggers it to speak. Confuss asks questions like "Where am I?" and "What am i doing here?" and interacts with the visitor. Emphatic robots in the care of elderly are designed to be like Confuss - egglike creatures with kind big eyes, as a result of a study on human empathy and what we perceive as cute. This time Confuss is unfortunately just very confused, not supportive and cuddly at all.
Technical specifications: Confuss uses a motion detector that triggers it to breath, shake and speak. Code: Roberto Fusco. Artistic content: Annabel Kajetski
