Confuss is a robot that reacts to human bodies with a motion detector sensor that triggers it to speak. Confuss asks questions like "Where am I?" and "What am i doing here?" and interacts with the visitor.
Emphatic robots in the care of elderly are designed to be like Confuss; egglike creatures with kind, big eyes, as a result of a study on human emphaty and what we perceive as cute. This time Confuss is unfortunately just very confused, not supportive and cuddly at all.
Technical specifications: Confuss uses a motion detector that triggers one of eleven recordings in a random order. The robot has a DC motor inside of it, that makes it shake or breath.
